Name change procedure in DOP Finacle

NAME CHANGE PROCEDURE IN DOP FINACLE:-

  • Name change of any account after verification of an account should be done in two levels i.e.,
  1. At CIF Level
  2. At Account Level

At CIF Level:-

  • Any modification in the CIF we have to do in the menu option modification after verification of CIF i.e., CMRC
  • Invoke the menu CMRC Select the function as "Modify" and enter the CIF number of the customer as shown in the below figure

    Then click on Go then the screen will appear as shown



    Then in the column Last name "modify the name as provided by the customer.Name change to be done only in the field last name because in finacle the name in this field will appear in the passbook hence enter the total name in the last name column only preferably.

    At Account Level:-

    • Name change in DOP Finacle requires modification at account level also in order to effect the name change in DOP Finacle.

    •  Invoke the menu HAALM (Account Abnormal Limits Maintenance) which is a supervisor menu then select the function as modify and enter the account number of the customer which is submitted for name change as shown


      Then click on Go then the system will shown the account name of the customer then edit the name as per the requirement as shown


      Then click on submit then system will throw you an exception which in Finacle can be accepted as shown

       

      Then click on accept then the system will show the message Account id ------ modified successfully as shown



      Then the verification by using the same menu HAALM should be done in another supervisor.Hence the name change will be done in the system successfully.

      Note that after name change in the system we have to submit the KYC documents to CPC for scanning.
